Three-year-old John is a student at Kageno Nursery School where he is learning prewriting, reading, counting, and English.
John was born into a very poor family whom Kageno has assisted by helping them construct a vegetable sack garden.
Each day, John looks forward to his school breakfast and lunch which are the only regular meals he can rely on. If not for these meals, he would be unable to focus on learning and could fall into malnutrition. He likes to join his friends on the swings, and playing with toys.
Your donation is combined with other sponsors to ensure that the children of Banda Village have a meal when they come to school. Your donation also supports the education received by students within the Kageno school – supporting teachers’ salaries, school supplies, the maintenance of the school rooms, and all that is needed so children can focus on learning and parents and guardians know they are giving their children a good start.
