Elias Hafashamungu

Five-year-old Elias and his mom live with his grandparents who help care for him. The family has limited resources. Elias is a graduate of Kageno’s Malnourished Program where he was fed extra enriched meals to enable him to thrive.

Elias attends Kageno Nursery School where he is learning to read, count, pre-write, and English. He receives two meals every school day. An active, playful child who is well-liked by his peers, Elias engages enthusiastically in classroom activities.
