Three-year-old Eric was born to a single mother from an extremely poor family. He lives with his grandparents. His grandfather who is head of the family is blind.

Eric is enrolled at Kageno Nursery School where he receives a pre-primary education and two meals every school day. He enjoys swinging and playing with his schoolmates.
