Alex Nyandwi

Three-year-old Alex comes from an extremely poor family. He was admitted into Kageno’s Malnourished Feeding Program when he was one. He was fed a balanced diet three days per week and his family received uncooked SOSOMA and other food for home consumption.

Kageno also constructed a vegetable garden and trained the family in nutrition and crop management to ensure balanced meal preparation at home.

Alex attends Kageno Nursery School where he is learning prewriting, reading, counting, and English. He is a very playful boy and enjoys socializing with his friends at school, swinging, and playing with toys.
