Belise Niyogushimwa

Five-year-old Belise comes from a very poor family. She, along with her two siblings and mother, reside with their grandmother. Belise is enrolled in Kageno Nursery School where she is learning writing, counting, English, and is fed two complete meals each school day. Since her admission, she has made remarkable progress.

Belise is able to read confidently and enjoys playing football with her peers. She loves attending school and always shows up well-prepared to take on the day.
