Happy Ishimwe

Three-year-old Happy lives with his single mom and grandparents who have limited resources. He’s enrolled in Kageno Nursery School where he learns reading, prewriting, counting, and English.

Each day at school, Happy eats breakfast and lunch, which gives him the energy he needs to focus on his studies and thrive.

Like his name, Happy has an upbeat disposition. He loves to play with toys and football with the other kids.
