Valentin Shema

Five-year-old Valentin grew up in challenging circumstances, without the support and presence of a father. At one, he fell into malnutrition and participated in Kageno’s Malnutrition Program for a year.

He was fed extra enriched meals several times per week to support his development. His family was provided a vegetable garden by Kageno and receives ongoing training to maintain it.

Valentin goes to Kageno Nursery School where he receives a pre-primary education, and breakfast and lunch every school day. Valentin is healthy, cheerful, and consistently happy to attend school. He enjoys playing with other children and is always eager to learn new things by exploring books.
